Spring EP is the first release by North Sea since 2015.

"In early 2023 I dusted off my rickety Oxygen-8, sat down at the piano again, vaguely succeeded in reviving my old Casio SA-8 with a leaky-battery transplant, got back to field recordings, opened up my, now ancient version of Logic, and began to write what became Spring EP.

It’s been refreshing finding my feet again making this music after time away. Times have changed and we live in such a different world from even a few years ago, and yet so many things have remained the same.

The EP is a reflection of when it was written, between February and March, and revisits old haunts which have stuck with me over the years, as well as trying to look beyond these to the future. The result is more cinematic and perhaps less subtle than previous works while, I hope, still providing some delicate and contemplative moments."

Spring EP is released digitally and with a limited first run of CDs.
